Regional Field Sales Engineer

Working for one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision tools for metal machining.  Customers include renowned companies from the general engineering sector, automotive, energy and aerospace industries.

This opportunity is covering the Norfolk, Kent and Sussex areas

Regional Field Sales Engineer

Key Performance Areas

  • To deliver year on year sales growth on the full range of product. 
  • To drive continuous improvement activities within customers and to effectively operate all sales channels. 
  • Maintain and strengthen business relations with customers and channel partners.
  • Drive and implement business action plans.
  • Maintain and develop new and existing customers.
  • Lead the launch of new products and services to assigned accounts.
  • Adhere to company policy and procedure during day-to-day business activities.

Profile

  • Must possess a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.             
  • Must have a through knowledge of the application of cutting tools and ideally experience working with 5 axis machine centres. 
  • Strong negotiator and influencing skills.
  • Independent, self-directed and results orientated. 
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills both written and orally.

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong engineering background obtained through on the job exposure or relevant apprenticeship. 
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the application of cutting tools and ideally experience working with 5 axis machine centers.
  • Proven sales experience within the metal cutting industry is desirable.
