Job: Regional Manager - Children's Homes
Location:  North London, UK
Salary: £65,000 per annum + £12,500 bonus
Role: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a dynamic and experienced leader with a passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people? Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to oversee a region of social care children's homes in North London? If so, we have a rewarding role for you as a Regional Manager.

We are working with a leading provider of social care services dedicated to supporting children and young people in need across London. They are committed to delivering high-quality care and creating environments where individuals can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities for the Regional Manager:
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management for a designated region of social care children's homes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of multiple homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and best practices.
  • Lead and support a team of Residential Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and supervision to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivery across the region, implementing interventions and improvements as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with local authorities, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the holistic support of children and young people.
  • Oversee five children's homes, including two 5-bed homes, two 4-bed homes, and one new home with a manager in place.
  • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of staff within the region, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
Qualifications and Requirements for the Regional Manager:
  • Significant experience in a leadership role within the social care sector, ideally within children's residential care.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines within the social care sector, particularly in London.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
