Registered Manager
Kare Plus are hiring on behalf of our client, who is a well-established provider of childcare services. An ideal opportunity for either an experienced Manager looking for a change of environment, or a Deputy Manager ready to take that next step!

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Creating care plans for each young person in care, covering various areas, whilst ensuring each Young Person has a Key Worker assigned.
* Ensuring a high quality of care is delivered whilst listening to the Young Person’s input.
* Managing any concerns or complaints around safety as a priority, keeping safeguarding and welfare at the forefront of care.
* Guaranteeing that each member of staff receives supervision in line with National Minimum Standards, and also has a personal development plan in place.
* Establishing a programme of senior staff and team meetings to facilitate communication and provide opportunities for consultation and staff development.
* Ensuring all new staff receive an induction to the Home in line with company policy.
* Ensuring adherence to company policy in relation to probationary periods.
* Promoting personal and professional development through the appropriate delegation of duties and responsibilities.
* Management Investigation process in accordance with HR Policy. Ensure investigations are addressed fairly and in accordance with the relevant procedure.
* Ensuring adequate staffing levels that meet the needs of the Home, managing budgets effectively and monitoring the use of finances.
* Ensuring that company vehicles are clean and regularly maintained.
* Implementing and adjusting rotas which fit best with Young Person’s needs, allowing handovers between shifts.
* Attending to all administration issues in relation to the Home and the provision of weekly management information reports for HQ.
* Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge on the industry and any regulation changes.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 4 in Caring for Children & Young Adults
* Full UK Driving Licence
* 2 Years experience working with children within the past 5 years, with 1 year at a senior level in a residential environment
