Atrium Healthcare is recruitment on behalf of the client for
Children's Home Registered Manager.
Responsibilities:
·Take
accountability for the smooth and efficient management and
administration of the home, including handling wider operational tasks
as needed.
·Produce, update, and monitor plans, reports, etc.,
ensuring timely delivery and demonstrating an organized, efficient,
and flexible approach to managerial duties.
·Lead, motivate,
manage, and develop all staff members within an open and enthusiastic
culture, including conducting training sessions.
·Ensure
professional representation of the company to external agencies and
within the local community, actively contributing to the company's
development.
About You:
·Committed to making a tangible
difference in the lives of young people, working to a high standard of
professional practice with a non-judgmental and positive attitude,
valuing the views, wishes, and feelings of the young people.
·Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Children's Home
legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements, as well as a thorough
knowledge of child protection/safeguarding procedures and protocols.
·Possess a recognised social work qualification, such as the QCF
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young
People) and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce
or equivalent.
·Have a minimum of 2 years' recent experience
within the last 5 years in a relevant residential care position,
including at least 1 year of supervising and managing staff working in
a care role.
·Hold a valid manual UK driving license, have access
to your own car, and be capable of undertaking on-call duties (rota
shared).
