Registered Manager

It is mandatory for all carers at Care Staffing to undertake and complete our Induction Process before commencing any duties of care.

Overview for the Registered Manager role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of our assisted living facility.

This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills and a deep understanding of senior care, including medication administration and dementia care. You will be passionate about wanting to build the best team to deliver outstanding care.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

To ensure service delivery to service users is person-centred, safe and compliant with both CQC and the company policies and procedures. To lead and supervise a group of health care assistants and all our clients support.

  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the care industry & CQC requirements.
  • Grow and develop the business. Support the team to set up any new care packages ensuring all relevant documentation is in place in a timely manner
  • Must have experience within the Domiciliary Care Sector.
  • Skills to mentor, support and train the team and ensure the team provides and maintains the highest levels of care in line with the Company’s vision, policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines and have experience in managing a team.
  • Ability to analyse practice and compliance.
  • A good understanding of risk management and health and safety management.
  • Self-motivated, organised, flexible, and caring.
  • Excellent administration and good IT skills. Excellent communication skills
  • Support the team to undertake staff meetings, appraisals and supervisions regularly and complete regular audits
  • Complete induction processes for any new starters
  • Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings with the support of HR
  • Post holders may be required to work on shift when necessary.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (which will include some evenings and weekends).
  • Liaise with Local authorities and raise monthly invoices
  • Complete house visits with clients and complete regular reviews and spot checks

  • Level 5 Health and Social Care - or working towards this
  •  Full UK driving License and access to own vehicle

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to senior care
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
