Registered Nurse - ICU - Private Hospital

About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and passionate ICU Registered Nurse to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Sutton, Surrey . The hospital has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their friendly and experienced intensive care team. The hospital boasts a range of fantastic facilities and puts their patients at the heart of everything they do and is very passionate about person-centred care. The service covers a range of specialities and procedures including orthopaedics, gynaecology and cardio. The hospital boasts excellent facilities and has 6 well-equipped operating theatres. The team are passionate about what they do and looking for a like-minded Registered Nurse to join their thriving intensive care team.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as Registered Nurse as part of the ICU nursing team and will be responsible for:

  • Caring for Level 2/3 patients in ITU
  • Constantly assess and reassess patients health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
  • Provide effective / safe / high standard care to patients post cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general  surgical procedures
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet each and every individual needs
  • Assisting the Multi-Disciplinary Team in planning care

Who we're looking for

  • Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Have a minimum of 2 years ICU experience in the UK is essential for this role
  • ICU certificate is desirable
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Cardiothoracic experience preferable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
