How you do it:

1} Your role as the learning disability manager is to provide personalised support services, enabling our clients to fully participate in various activities, employment, education, and community engagement.

2} You will establish collaborative partnerships with external agencies, community resources, and advocacy groups to ensure our clients have access to a comprehensive network of support services, providing the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

3} Ensure that our services uphold the principles of inclusion and empowerment, enabling our clients to thrive and make meaningful contributions to society.

4} Leading by example, you will embody the values of compassion, integrity, and excellence in all your work, inspiring and motivating our team to embrace innovation and best practices for continuous improvement in service delivery.

5} Foster a culture of learning and development by supporting staff's professional growth through training, mentorship, and ongoing supervision.

You have

  • Transparent leadership with 5+ years managing LD services, demonstrating integrity.
  • Registered Manager with CQC or equivalent, showcasing regulatory understanding.
  • Preferred PBS qualification or willingness to obtain one, indicating a commitment to evidence-based care.
  • Excellent communication skills, engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building ability, fostering collaboration.
  • Insightful and adaptable, recognising own limitations.
  • Proficient in IT, utilising technology effectively.
  • Capable of decision-making under pressure and resolving issues promptly.
  • Extensive LD and complex needs care experience, understanding of sector challenges.
