I am working with a growing pharmaceutical company who provide over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of customers. They're currently in the next phase of growth for the company as they're overtaking a consumer portfolio from a huge company in the pharmaceutical industry.....


Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OTC Pharmaceuticals Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in product development, regulatory compliance, marketing strategies, and customer support within the OTC pharmaceutical sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new OTC pharmaceutical products, from concept to commercialization.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in the OTC healthcare market.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards governing the manufacturing, labelling, and marketing of OTC pharmaceutical products.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and educational initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive product sales.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers on OTC pharmaceutical products, usage, and safety.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MBA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on OTC products.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) related to OTC pharmaceuticals.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
    • Proven track record of successful product launches, market analysis, and strategic planning in the OTC pharmaceutical sector.
