This role of Regulatory Reporting Change Manager involves leading change initiatives as a Reg Reporting SME:

* must have prior experience of Cr2 / Basel III rulebook in a BAU context)
* drive strategic change for Basel 3.1
* recognise revenue, RWA ladders, cashflow, info capture, assessment - to thereafter implement

Regulatory Reporting Change Manager - Retail and Business Bank

This position will own regulatory change for the next few years as the bank roll out Basel 3.1 implementation. The ideal person will support existing regulatory reporting members from an SME standpoint (production) when needed but focus most of their time otherwise on the given project.

The deliverables within the role are as follows:

  • Lead Finance for the Basel 3.1 change program
  • Define and document Basel 3.1 requirements with engagement from external party
  • Own the roll out approach
  • Lead implementation of Basel 3.1
  • Post delivery documentation - update/create process and technical documentation for reporting procedures following Basel 3.1 update
  • Support regulatory reporting team during monthly/quarterly reporting cycle.

A successful Regulatory Reporting Change Manager should have:

  • A solid educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field with qualification
  • Proficiency in project management and change management methodologies (BUT NOT at the expense of strong BAU Regulatory Reporting exposure)
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory reporting standards and procedures
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • The ability to work collaboratively and drive strategic change
