Repair Engineer

Full Job Description

A family run company which has been established for 45 years are looking to recruit a multiskilled Repair Engineer to service, clean and repair Industrial Equipment at their site in Witham. The role is 90% workshop based with occasional visits to customer sites in the area.

Duties:

• Undertake service and repair duties both individually or working as part of a small team.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical equipment
• Clean and test machinery, explaining work undertaken to customers and staff.
• Work on a variety of equipment including Welding & Cutting Equipment, Industrial Tools, Power Tools, PPE and Hire equipment .
• Machine installations, commissioning, servicing and refurbishment at customer sites

Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have experience of welding equipment both electrical and engine driven systems.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills, able to deal with circuit boards .
• Mechanical knowledge including petrol and diesel engines .
• Must have good customer facing skills
• Must have a full UK driving licence

Benefits:

• 35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience + Bonus
• Hours 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hours lunch
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Use of company van to visit client sites
