Eden Scott’s client is currently seeking RFP Analyst to join their Financial Services Organisation in Edinburgh


As an RFP (Request for Proposal) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our business development efforts by managing the end-to-end process of responding to RFPs from clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyse RFP requirements, gather necessary information, and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling proposals that address client needs and showcase our capabilities.


The role is Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse RFP documents to understand client requirements, objectives, and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information, data, and resources necessary for proposal development.
  • Craft clear, concise, and compelling responses tailored to the specific requirements outlined in the RFP.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content and solutions proposed.
  • Manage proposal timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely submission.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with RFP instructions and formatting requirements.
  • Participate in proposal debriefs and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve proposal processes and outcomes.


Person Specification

  • Proven experience (in RFP analysis, proposal development, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex requirements and synthesize information effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build positive relationships.
