Are you an experienced & skilled Research and Development Engineer / Engineer that has a strong problem solving, engineering background? Do you have experience working within the engineering / manufacturing industries? Are you looking for a varied and challenging position varying from R&D, developing new products and bringing new products to market?
If so, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Development Engineer on a permanent basis to take on a varied and challenging position for a company that supply globally specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke equipment and machinery into multiple sectors. (Pharma, Food & Beverage, Dairy, Refrigeration etc.)

Essential Requirements / Experience:

• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 + years in a hands on Engineering position (R&D Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer etc.)
• This person must have an engineering / manufacturing background
• Strong exposure to product development / NPI
• Exposure to design would be desirable but not essential
• Must be a hungry and driven individual that wants to put their own stamp on an expanding role with the ability to work and fit into a small team

Salary Package

• 40,000 -50,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role

• This role is a perfect opportunity for a Research and Development Engineer to take the next step in there career in a varied and challenging role
• 70% new products to market, initially 30% focussing on developing existing product range
• The role itself is a split role working on multiple cutting edge projects at one time
• You could find yourself hands on testing products within the Test and R&D facilitate, through to problem solving on the shop floor, providing basic designs for test solutions / test rigs and products themselves through to projects management keeping the customer up to date at all times
• We are looking for someone to work in a small team within the test and R&D function while working closely with design and engineers on bespoke machinery projects
