Brook Street are currently recruiting for a caring
and understanding individuals, to help support young people
transitioning from a care home, to living independently for the first
time.
The young people that you will be supporting have come
from a background of trauma and abuse.
Due to the needs of our
young people, you will be required to drive. Some of the daily duties
will include, taking the young people to and from appointments,
helping with shopping, allowing them to manage finances independently.
Supporting with meal preparation and menu planning. As the young
people have come from a challenging background, much of the role will
be based on supporting the young people emotionally.
Working as
a support worker for young people will allow them to live
independently and help them to gain confidence with their everyday
living skills.
My client provide`s 24hr care for young people,
the working hours would be as follows:
8am-11pm - Sleeping in until
8am
Pay - 11ph
We require support workers for
Bristol.
**Required** - To Work with Us You Will Need:
o
Minimum of 6 months
o To be approachable, friendly, proactive and
engage with the service users!
o Great communication,
organisational and interpersonal skills. Hold a driving licence.
Hold an NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Children & Young people.
