Product quality always begins at the source – with procurement. That’s why it takes people with an uncompromising sense of standards, an exceptional mindset and a real feeling for quality to procure the most suitable materials for each and every part of our vehicles. But the job doesn’t just end there. In their pursuit of uncompromising quality, our teams are tasked with ensuring all the materials they source continue to drive more sustainable and efficient production methods too.

 

Our Bespoke Purchasing team is responsible for securing the supply of low volume Bespoke components. The team are responsible for selecting suitable suppliers in line with agreed cost, quality and time targets. This includes negotiating and agreeing prices with suppliers in order to achieve the best possible costs while taking account of design, volume and timing constraints.

·               Studying for a degree or diploma in either a science, engineering or business-related discipline

·        A broad appreciation and understanding of purchasing principles and processes.

·               An aptitude for business and negotiation

·               Knowledge of new product development processes

·               Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the automotive industry

·               Good communication skills

·               Adaptability to support a variety of tasks

What do you need to do now?

The next stages of the recruiting process could include; online testing, a one-way video interview, and then a face to face, telephone, or virtual interview with the hiring manager.
