Production Steering & Programme Planning - 13 Month Placement

The role is broad, cross functional and interacts with many different aspects of the business. The exposure to topics such as volume planning, problem solving topics from build, or prioritising vehicles with the assembly teams is daily business. It is an excellent department from within which to learn about the complete life cycle of vehicle production from order to delivery.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting daily operational tasks in production and distribution
• Problem solving in the operational environment
• Supporting prioritisation and delivery of customer vehicles on time
• Reporting on production and distribution performance
• Process and system improvement

The job combines a supporting role for the existing team structure with the need to work autonomously and with its own responsibilities for various projects to help deliver continuous improvement and improved performance within the team and business areas within which it interacts.

 

  • Great Pay  – A competitive annual salary of £23,100 , 27 days holiday (pro rata to your contract) and a pension scheme as well as a subsidised on-site restaurant.
