Job Title: SAP SCM-EWM Solution Architect
Key Function: To provide Subject Matter Expertise/Solution Architecture to clients
As an SAP SCM-EWM Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP SCM-EWM solutions to meet the warehouse management needs of the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and architect solutions that optimize and streamline warehouse processes.
Solution Design:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand warehouse management requirements.
Design end-to-end SAP SCM-EWM solutions based on industry best practices and business needs.
Create and review detailed technical specifications for SAP SCM-EWM configurations and custom developments.
Implementation and Configuration :
Lead the implementation of SAP SCM-EWM modules, ensuring alignment with business processes.
Configure SAP SCM-EWM settings to meet specific business and operational requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and integrations with other SAP modules.
Integration:
Ensure seamless integration of SAP SCM-EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP) and external systems.
Design and implement interfaces to connect SAP SCM-EWM with third-party logistics providers and other relevant systems.
Optimization and Performance Tuning:
Continuously evaluate and optimize SAP SCM-EWM processes for efficiency and performance.
Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
Documentation and Training:
Create comprehensive documentation for SAP SCM-EWM configurations, custom developments, and integrations.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing system support.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving SAP SCM-EWM-related issues.
Collaborate with the support team to address user-reported problems and implement timely solutions.
Stay Updated:
Stay abreast of the latest SAP SCM-EWM developments, updates, and industry trends.
Evaluate and recommend new functionalities and features that align with business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive experience in SAP SCM-EWM implementation and configuration.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
SAP EWM certification is a plus.
