SC Cleared Data Architect - Outside IR35 - 6 Months - Hybrid - London

Role Summary:

SR2 is very pleased with a consultancy who have partnered with a major UK bank for a 6-month project. This project will be working alongside incredible consultants and work with cutting-edge technology within the financial space.

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution design for complex projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps to guide the evolution of the Bank's technology landscape.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending adoption where appropriate.
• Support the development and future planning of the Bank's enterprise architecture, driving the growth of our Architecture practice.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in producing architectural blueprints and solution design documentation.
• Expertise in architectural thinking, evaluating design options, and developing abstracted views of processes and systems.
• Extensive experience with document and records management solutions, including migration to Office 365.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their use in Banking/Financial Services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Experience with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Experience designing solutions for cloud environments or migrating existing solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working in Large Enterprises or significant public sector organizations.

Qualifications:

• CITP or CEng or equivalent rounded IT experience.
• TOGAF or equivalent related business technology architect qualification.
• Membership of relevant architecture/IT professional associations (e.g., BCS, IASA).
