Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Start Date: Immediately

Contract Type: Long Term

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 03:45 pm

SEMH Teaching Assistant Needed in a Primary School in Tower Hamlets

GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant for our client Primary School in Tower Hamlets.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the emotional, social, and mental health needs of our Year 3 students. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, implementing tailored interventions, and fostering a nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

SEMH Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

· Providing one-to-one support for Year 3 students with SEMH needs

· Implementing tailored interventions to support students' emotional well-being

· Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to create inclusive learning environments

· Assisting with the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons to meet individual needs

· Building positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies

SEMH Teaching Assistant Requirements:

· We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have:

· Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs

· A flexible and adaptable approach to working with different children

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· A patient and empathetic nature

· Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN (desirable but not essential)

Can travel daily to Tower Hamlets
