Our independant special school in Wakefield hasa requirement for strong Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to join their team with immediate starts.

The role will be supporting the school's young people who are aged 5-13 so predominately Primary aged children .

The childrenface multiple challenges/ anxieties in school and have a range of complex learning needs (including Autism Spectrum Disorder/ SEMH needs) and additional traumas so the young peopleso can display challenging behaviours when in crisis so expereince in de-escalation techniques through Team Teach or PRICE Training is essential.

The school are looking for trauma-informed practitioners to support as TA in the school and someone to make their young people feel they are in a safe space to learn and also develop their social skills.
