Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in providing support to primary school students with ASD. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the diverse needs of children with ASD, catering to both low and high functioning individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students with ASD.
- Implement effective strategies to support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
- Collaborate with other professionals, parents, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of belonging and confidence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience.
- Specialization or additional training in ASD support is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with both low and high functioning ASD students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
