Full-Time SEN Teacher Assistant   – Eastbourne KS1 – KS4

Salary: £83.40-£95.26 per day depending on experience

Location: Eastbourne

Hours: 8am – 3.30PM

Long-Term Full-time with the potential to become permanent. The school is open to offering part time or full time roles.

The purpose of your role will be to help and encourage young students with diverse needs. We currently have a number of openings at different Key Stages.

You will have the opportunity to work in a great environment and to work in a supportive and caring team.  You will also be surrounded by likeminded people who not only want to support the students but their colleagues around them.

About the Role:

  • Full-time position with the potential for permanency
  • Support students with a range  learning difficulties
  • Provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents to develop and implement personalised learning plans

Requirements:

  • Some TA experience would be useful but not essential as full training provided
  • Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to support students accordingly
  • Ability to be flexible and creative
  • Passionate about making a difference
  • Dedicated inspiring & engaging
  • Create a safe calm and positive environment for the pupil
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
