Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 6
Location: Tower Hamlets, United Kingdom
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Full Time, 8:30 am to 3:45 pm
Salary Range: £80 - £100 per day


Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a keen interest in supporting Year 6 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Tower Hamlets?
Here's an exciting opportunity at GSL Education for a SEN Teaching Assistant role, exclusively tailored for Year 6, during regular school hours from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm in Tower Hamlets. Immediate start and a supportive environment await, with a focus on continuous professional development.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Year 6 teachers to provide dedicated support for students with SEN.
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for Year 6 learners in Tower Hamlets.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to implement effective learning strategies for Year 6 students with SEN.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly focusing on Year 6.
  • Familiarity with the Year 6 curriculum and a passion for supporting students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage Year 6 students in their educational journey.
