Full Job Description
SEN Teaching assistant/TA to work in a mainstream primary school from September for the whole academic year (minimum).
Working across KS1 supporting where needed including working with SEN pupils on a 1-2-1 basis.
Full time - Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 15:45
£90 - £95 per day PAYE, No umbrella companies!
About the roleAs an SEN Teaching assistant in this school, your roles will include-
-Supporting the class teachers across KS1 where needed in the classroom
-Carrying out small group sessions supporting pupils with their learning
-Working with pupils with SEN on a 1-2-1 basis
-Completing admin tasks, assisting the teacher with preparing the classroom for lessons and assisting with school trips
-Supporting all pupils ensuring they are receiving the support needed throughout the day
About the schoolThe school is a two form mainstream primary school. They are looking to interview/trial in the coming weeks so if you are interested please dont delay your application.
The school are looking for someone who is confident, punctual, organised and can work off their own initiative.
You should be able to work collaboratively with staff in the school.
RequirementsTo be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service
- Have experience working as a TA
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children
As SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the teacher and assist pupils with their learning
