We're seeking dedicated individuals to join us as
Full-Time Special Needs Assistants, supporting pupils with Special
Educational Needs (SEN).
Position: Full-Time Special Needs
Assistant (temp to perm opportunity)
Location: Great Bookham,
Surrey KT23
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time
Only)
Salary: £75.00 - £82.00 per day (32.5 hours per
week)
As a Special Needs Assistant at our SEN primary and
secondary school, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and
empowering our students with SEN, providing personalised support to
help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school
setting is a fresh, new environment for pupils to grow and thrive
alongside their role models .. which will be you! The children and
young adults within the school will rely on you to be their guidance
and listening ears.
This opportunity will include:
- Assisting SEN pupils 1:1 in various subjects and activities, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Supporting the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within mainstream classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
- Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all

Our ideal
candidate will possess:
✔️ Previous experience working
with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not
essential).
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to build strong relationships with students,
colleagues.

adapt to the diverse needs of our students.

for education and a dedication to promoting the well-being and
academic success of every child.
