Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious independent special school in the Burgess Hill area. The pupil community is diverse & spans KS3 to KS5. You will support the team in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities. 

Our client boasts an incredible private grounds with second-to-none resources & facilities available to staff for the use of supporting students.

£72 per day minimum - dependent on experience. 8:30 - 3:30, Monday to Friday, Term time only. Temp to Perm (12 weeks).

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
• Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
• Confident working with children & young people in SEN
• Experience working with children & young people (desired)
• Experience working with children & young people in SEN (desired)

Responsibilities

• Support class teacher
• Support the pupils and their needs
• Understand individual needs & adapt approach
