Full-Time SEN Teacher Assistant   – Crawley KS1 – KS4

Salary: £83.40-£95.26 per day depending on experience

Location: Crawley

Hours: 8am – 3.30PM

Start Date: ASAP – Temp to Perm Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work in a great environment and to work in a supportive and caring team. 

About the Role:

• Full-time position with the potential for permanency
• Support students with Severe Learning Difficulties and multiple learning difficulties
• Provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
• Foster positive behaviour and promote learning both inside and outside the classroom
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Promote effective communication between students, teachers and parents/guardians

Requirements:

• Some TA experience would be useful but not essential as full training provided
• Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to support students accordingly
• Ability to be flexible and creative
• Passionate about making a difference
• Dedicated inspiring & engaging
• Create a safe calm and positive environment for the pupil
• Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
