Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious special school near Haywards Heath. The pupil community is diverse & spans KS1 to KS4. You will support the team in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities. 

This is a long-term, ongoing placement with a view to make permanent for the right candidate.

£72 per day minimum (£11.07 per hour) Temp to Perm (12 weeks Temp, continued as Permanent)

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
• Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
• Confident working with children & young people in SEN
• Experience working with children & young people (desired)
• Experience working with children & young people in SEN (desired)

Responsibilities

• Support class teacher
• Support the pupils
• Understand individual needs & adapt approach
