Full Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teacher / Teacher with SEN Experience

Location: Epping, Harlow, Loughton, Chigwell

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking qualified teachers with QTS and a background in supporting students with diverse learning needs to join our team in Epping, Harlow, Loughton, and Chigwell.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support in 3-hour blocks to students struggling to access the full curriculum in a classroom environment.
• Deliver 1:1 sessions with students in their homes or neutral settings such as community libraries.
• Commit to provided timetables to ensure consistency for students, with blocks ranging from 4 weeks to termly based on complexity of need.
• Work with students for no more than 15 hours per week.
• Utilize excellent communication strategies with students and the organization.
• Offer subject specialisms in both primary and secondary education.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
• Experience working with SEND students.
• Flexibility for shorter workdays.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to student progress and well-being.
