If you are a qualified EYFS teacher who is looking to upgrade their career to specialise in SENCO, for a part time permanent position, our expert team of consultants work with a variety of settings and will be there 24/7 to help you along with our online, easy onboarding process. The school is looking to appoint a part-time SENDCO who will bring joy, passion and expertise to the role and fully support their ethos.

The role will include:

• Ensuring school policies and procedures are in line with the latest governmental SEN policies and regulations
• Ensuring the school is equipped with adequate equipment and facilities for special educational needs including wheel chair access and audio visual-learning aids.
• Assisting 1:1 teaching support to children with learning difficulties.
• Providing referrals for children to recieve support out of hours.

We are looking for a SENCO with the following:

• Level 3 or equivalent
• Primary School experience in the UK
• A calm, patient and caring persona
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
