Salary:  £50,131 - £53,718

Type:  Full-Time, Permanent

M/LK Education Search is excited to be partnering with this brand new, specialist SEMH provision for 5–19-year-olds set to open its doors in Sutton this September.

They are seeking to appoint a confident, dynamic, and inspirational SENCO who can inspire students to make excellent progress. As a new, small school catering for 40 students, you will be joining at the beginning of an exceptionally exciting journey of growth and therefore can take on further responsibilities across the school.

You will be:

• A qualified and/or experienced SENCO or SEN/Inclusion leader within a similar environment.
• A qualified teacher with QTS in the UK
• Outstanding knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
• Experienced in motivating staff and pupils, using a person-centred approach.
• An optimist, with a 'can do' attitude and the desire to take on the challenge of opening a brand-new setting.
• An exceptional communicator who builds long-standing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Committed to working with pupils with SEMH and additional needs like trauma, attachment, and challenging behaviours.
• Familiar with Independent School Standards
