SEND Teaching Assistant needed to support in Year 3 Class!

Job Title: Year 3 SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Liverpool

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school in the Aintree area to support a Year 3 child with additional behavioural needs.

The post requires a talented Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who can take the lead in supporting the child’s personal targets and promoting positive behaviour.

Applicants must have either least NQV level 2 qualified or have a minimum of 6 months experience working with young children with SEND. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.

The role will include:

• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
• Working with students who require specialist support
• Leading group work
• Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
