Monarch Education are working in partnership with an outstanding SEND provision within the heart of Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity, starting ASAP, for a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant, who wants to make a difference supporting Primary aged children.

Outstanding Pay Rates between £90-£97.75.

The Role:

The teaching role is on a 1-1 basis with a reception child with severe learning difficulties. You'll be working alongside the classroom teacher, so excellent communication skills and team work will be required. The role is to start on at the end of November therefore, ideally, you'll be available to start ASAP!

The School:

The school is rated outstanding and strives to support every student in order to achieve their best, working closely with health professionals and therapists. The school has excellent links to public transport, e.g. there is a direct bus from Bristol city centre, only 30 minutes.

Requirements:

The school is ideally looking for someone who understands and has experience of working with special educational needs, with either children or adults with SEMH.

In this environment, you will be supporting all students, secondary aged with SEMH. You'll be supporting students alongside the classroom teacher to boost attainment and aid their development, both socially and in their education, alongside their EHCP. You will help in maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice in a rewarding role in an Outstanding Ofsted rated school.

An ideal candidate may have either of the following-

- Gradates from the following backgrounds; Art, Music, Psychology, Sport

- Suitable for NQT's

- Care, Social or Support Working background/experience

- SEND Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant with experience

- Sports Coach
