SEND Teaching Assistant - SK9

Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partnered SEND schools in Alderley (SK9) on a permanent basis starting ASAP!

This role is term time only and the hours are 9:15am - 4pm.

Your role & responsibilities:

* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
* Delivering 1-2-1 sessions if needed
* Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
* Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Non-negotiables:

* Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
* Must drive
* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
* Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
