Ignite the Evolution of Materials Science Industry Training at The AMRICC Centre!

Join us to shape the future landscape of ceramics and advanced materials training as part of a dynamic and multi-skilled team leading the charge in materials science breakthroughs.


As a STEM Curriculum Development and Delivery Specialist, with a strong focus on science you will work closely with our industry experts to create dynamic online learning as well as in person training in our unique Centre in Staffordshire!


Your Role in Action:

  • Design and develop cutting-edge training materials and programs for the AMRICC Education and Training Academy, emphasizing scientific principles relevant for industry.
  • Collaborate with academia and industry partners to ensure the scientific and industry relevance of the training content in ceramics, advanced materials, and Industry 4.0.
  • To develop inspirational material for online access as well as facilitating engaging face to face training sessions using the latest tools such as immersive 3D visualisations of industrial applications and foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Lead the Education and Skills workstream for the Strength in Places Fund (SIPF) programme, focusing on science education outreach to schools and colleges.


It’s all about you:

You are a passionate trainer or educator with a strong scientific background and experience in curriculum development and training, particularly in science or engineering disciplines. You thrive on innovation and are adept at utilizing technology to create immersive learning experiences. Your strong communication skills and collaborative nature make you an ideal candidate to lead our science-focused training initiatives.


Competencies:

  • Graduate in a relevant science or, engineering, discipline.
  • Training/teaching work experience with a strong emphasis on science education.
  • Training materials development experience.


Experience:

  • Proficiency in using training tools, software, and platforms with a specific emphasis on scientific applications.
  • Experience in liaising with third parties and experts to develop unique online training materials
  • Knowledge and experience in material science and ceramic processing (an advantage).
  • Strong experience in analysing customer requirements and developing training solutions with a scientific focus.
  • Experience and understanding of how to commercially develop and deliver training would be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong emphasis on conveying scientific concepts effectively.
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and patient with the ability to make complex scientific concepts easy to understand.
  • Detail-oriented and organised.
  • Strong problem-solving skills rooted in scientific methodologies.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on scientific innovation.
  • Proven ability to build, sustain, and develop strong client relationships.
