Job Description:

A new, permanent opportunity to join our gowing Disney Cruise Line team in Hammersmith, west London.

This position requires 4 days in the office with one from home.

This role is within the Safety Department for Disney Cruise Line®, managing the myriad administrative activities associated with the Disney Cruise Line® Safety Program.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Using Disney Cruise Line® Incident Management System (DCLIMS)

  • Coordination, creation, and distribution of weekly reports

  • Deliver timely analysis reports for Incident trends for leadership

  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes and streamline reporting

  • Liaise with Risk Management in identifying trends from data analysis associated with injury rates-identify to safety team subject leads.

  • System Preparation for fleet expansion

  • Input into bi-annual system enhancements

  • System users' administration

  • Safety Management System (SMS) updates with system enhancements

  • User Guides and Training

    • Updating training scripts

    • Recording training videos, screen demonstrations, written content

    • Review & edit video content

    • Update DLearn (Disney Learning – through Disney University) course information

    • Creating system User Guides

    • Act as subject matter expert

  • Other administrative support to the Safety team as required

  • Assist London office Directors with Travel & Expenses

Experience & Skills:  

  • Stong administrative skills including working with data, reporting and analysis

  • Comfortable in picking up new systems - the Safety team use a bespoke system and you will be trained as a Super User

  • Ability to work under deadline pressures and handle multiple priorities - our Cruise teams are international, busy and time pressured

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of Disney cast members both Shoreside and Onboard. You will also deal with external contacts.

  • Confident communication skills for team training or updates on the Safety system

  • Attention to detail and confidentiality with s trong organizational skills 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Cruise or Maritime experience an advantage

  • Experience with documentation management tools
