Full Job Description

We're thrilled to partner with a leading training GP practice in search of a dedicated Salaried GP. With a patient base of approximately 18,000, this practice thrives on diversity and complexity.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Salaried GP.
  • Sessions: 4-10 sessions per week depending on your preferences.
  • Location: Surrey (near Walton-on-Thames)
  • Salary: 10,500 - 11,500 per session depending on experience.
  • Practice Overview: They are a busy surgery with GPs working alongside a multidisciplinary team including ANPs, Pharmacists, Specialist & Practice Nurses, as well as Paramedics. All are supported by a large administrative and management team. They use EMIS, Docman 10, accurx and surgery connect phone system.

About You:

  • Qualified GP with full GMC Registration.
  • Currently on NHS England performer's list.
  • Excellent communication skills, effective time management, polite, forward thinker, problem solver, high levels of integrity and loyalty, with the ability to work autonomously and as a team member

Key Duties:

  • Undertake a variety of duties including telephone and face to face surgery consultations.
  • You will be on a rota to support the Triage sessions, undertake routine clinical sessions and also support the Duty doctor rota (dealing with more urgent on the day consultations).
  • Visiting paramedics undertake the majority of home visits but GPs are involved with visiting palliative patients and also support the local care homes.
  • We offer flexible working and the role of Admin GP (a day when a GP is put on the rota to process blood tests and general patient test results). This means you are not required to work later in the day following up on patient test results and administration.
