Job Description - Sales Director - UK, US & EMEA  Client Coverage

Previous experience within Technology Standards or Consumable Electronics would be a strong advantage. 

Location: UK Remote – UK, US & EMEA  Client Coverage

  • Constantly monitor sales pipeline and prioritise customer engagements, with regular updates to the head of sales and Managing Director
  • Manage, coach and mentor Technical Sales team in Asia (currently 3 direct reports)
  • Key stakeholder in the development and implementation of sales plans and planning for your sales region including key account management.
  • Use product sales and solution sales techniques to develop existing customer business and hunt for new opportunities to exceed targets.
  • Engage with stakeholders and influencers in the devices business in order to build services and product roadmap with our Resillion teams.
  • Undertake customer visits throughout the region to assist in exceeding sales target.
  • Deliver customer seminars to large groups through excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Key stakeholder in all aspects of key account management, from developing to implementing plans to maximizing business within existing accounts and new opportunities. Formal account management plans devised per key customer to reflect strategic and tactical plans.
  • Ensure team adherence and accuracy to Resillion’s systems and processes such as CRM system, workflow systems. A methodical and organised approach is required. 
  • Work together with other members of the office, including technical and test teams showing a positive, can-do, team work approach. Also be self-driven and motivated by exceeding sales targets
  • Work in conjunction with UK based direct line manager to succeed and advise on areas of over achievement
  • Ability to work at all levels of customer base, including seeking C-level contacts
  • Produce pipeline, forecast and update reports to Business unit MD
  • Attend seminars and exhibitions throughout the year
  • Provide product and customer roadmap information back into the business
  • The ability to manage, coach and mentor direct report as well as communicate with internal stakeholders such as department managers, staff and UK HQ management teams.
  • Ability to travel at short notice. 

Skills: 

  • Proven ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English, with mandarin a significant advantage.
  • A successful track record and proven experience of owning and delivering against a multi-million pounds sales target, in a technically driven marketplace
  • Knowledge of Digital Media Broadcast or CE market highly desirable,
  • can clearly demonstrate ability to transfer skills to new market segments to enable growth of Resillion
  • Strong account management and stakeholder management skills, with a record of maintaining and growing business revenue and profitability within key accounts

Experience: 

  • Proven ability in identifying and winning new business with new customers in existing and new sectors essential and exceeding targets in UK, Europe, US and SE Asia. 
  • success in the solution selling approach.
  • Demonstrable account management and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to demonstrate good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable.
