Sales Executive - Existing Customers! 

Salespeople... Come and be our top performer, meaning you will be on track to take home £41,449 P/A, although uncapped!

We are looking for driven Salespeople to join our Cross Sales Team. With 47K members and growing, you’ve got thousands of existing customers to speak to. We have multiple membership options to choose from, new promotions and offers available at all times, this is a brilliant opportunity to earn uncapped commission in a business that is going places. If you like the idea of non-scripted conversations where your ability to uncover needs, build relationships, upsell and cross-sell are key, we’d love to hear from you! 

Location : Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Where do you fit in?

Our plans to quadruple the size of our platform over the next four years are moving at pace. We’ve got more investment and big plans and need brilliant people to deliver on them!   Our sales culture is also changing. We are moving into a more performance based culture where that spot at the top of the league table is yours for the taking!  From revised base salaries and uncapped commission structures to more competitions and incentives, there’s loads to shout out about. The Cross Sales team is all about existing member sales where you’ll upsell and cross sales, promoting the full range of Checkatrade products to help our Tradespeople to maximise their membership. You’ll be skilled in uncovering needs and confident in addressing them. With a CRM and dialling system that gives you plenty of time between calls, you’ll also use your IT and admin skills to keep accurate, up to date records.

What do you need to succeed?
 
  • The right behaviours, sales ability and energy and enthusiasm. This means you’ll be driven, self-motivated, positive and resilient.
  • You listen well, understand and react fast, turning obstacles into opportunities.
  • High integrity - you’ll naturally do the right thing, and go above and beyond, even when no one is looking.
  • Previous Sales and Account management experience is highly beneficial although transferable skills from other customer-facing roles where your confidence to handle objections, ability to remove barriers and perseverance to meet targets has seen you succeed.
  • Alternatively, you'll be a switched on graduate with excellent communication skills, a gift of the gab and a knack for building relationships.
