Full Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enterprising approach to relationship building and management through networking events, calls etc.
- Able to work autonomously, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent inflows of opportunity across all products.
- Stay abreast of financial market developments to identify trends, seek out fresh opportunities, and build rapport with prospective clients through a comprehensive grasp of their business operations.
- Collaborating with PMs, the IR team, and Operations to ensure investor needs are met, while taking ownership of the entire sales lifecycle.
- Consistent maintenance of CRM software with up-to-date data on current clients, potential leads, and investment tracking
- Schedule and take the lead on organising conferences, roadshows, and events to drive sales targets.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or a finance-adjacent subject
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asset management sales, with a proven track record of success
- Experience in a sales role within alternative UCITS (preferred)
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, can-do attitude - ability to leverage market-specific knowledge within a wider business context
- Experience in a client-facing role (face-to-face and over the phone), with a high standard of client service and relationship building for the long term
- Proven understanding of financial markets - preferably gained through experience at a hedge fund/asset manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (E.G. Salesforce)
