About the job:

Cirium is offering an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team in a management capacity based in the London office. The role is for a proven sales professional, with a demonstrable track record of selling software or data solutions to new labels in the travel industry. The role will be focused on leading a team of five based out of London, assisting them with achieving their new business target as well renewal revenue from existing accounts.

The ideal individual should have an aviation tech/data background, be goal orientated and comfortable working within a high pressured and fast paced environment. They should possess excellent communication skills in English (telephone, face-to-face), for both internal networking and client facing activity. Above all, this person should be hardworking and passionate for success. Managerial or Team Leadership experience is highly desirable. This role will be reporting into Head of Sales.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coaching, mentoring and embedding Cirium’s Value based Selling principles across the team
  • Managing a team of Account Managers to achieve sales objectives and plan strategies to ensure a consistent flow of business across Aviation and travel sector.
  • Develop the competencies and effectiveness of the sales team members, always leading by example
  • Providing accurate forecasting to Sales Leadership team & ensure all activity across the team is recorded in Salesforce
  • Managing relationship with the key policy agencies and support promotion of data transformation in EMEA's aviation eco-system. As appropriate, serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expeditions
  • Building long term strategic accounts plans designed to maximise existing revenue streams whilst demonstrating ROI to the client
  • Identifying new problems that we can solve whilst working with internal resources to deliver new complex solutions into new sections of a defined client base

Qualifications:

  • Strong track record of devising sales strategies &
  • leading a sales team in an aviation/travel domain.
  • Technically adept in understanding data & SaaS solutions.
  • Proven experience as a successful salesperson/leader in enterprise software sales, data sales, or equivalent
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and set the sales strategy for
  • customer opportunities and lead a team to deliver high quality customer solutions
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills – ability to enthuse and excite the the target audience
  • Strong and consistent performance at meeting or exceeding sales objectives or quotas
  • Proven ability to learn quickly about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Ability to speak & represent Cirium in key travel conferences/engagements in EMEA.
  • Able to work flexible hours to accommodate international colleagues and customers in different time zones
