Role Purpose
The Sales & Service Manager is responsible for
ensuring that my clients key business principles are adhered to and
are actively implemented in the area. The primary purpose of this role
is to provide one point of contact for both Sales and Service for
their. Working closely with the Tyre Technicians and Regional Business
Managers to ensure the achievement of profit targets, product sales
and service levels within your area.
Core Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment
*
Provide leadership in
implementing Health, Safety and Environmental Policy, ensuring the
guiding principles and responsibilities are communicated and fulfilled
to all depot staff and customers.
*
Carry out Safety Talks and
Toolbox Talks as required and continuously champion safety within your
area to both customers and Team Members.
Business Development
*
Carry out sales calls and inspections as required to achieve
budgets and business targets
*
Create new and sustainable
business for both the UK business and the local service depot.
*
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Operations Support
Manager, Factory and Account Managers to ensure they are aware of the
role they play in the development of the local area and to ensure the
achievement of any targets and budgets in place.
*
Play a role
in the management and development of any system put in place to
improve service, information or other relevant data required by the
business or the customer.

Presentation appearance and
delivery skills
Depot Management
*
Staff Communication
*
Provide one point of contact for our customers in the region for
both Sales and Service
*
Responsible for Managing Tyre
Technicians daily workload in liaison with the Regional Sales Manager
and Operations Support Manager
*
Work closely with the
Transport Team to ensure trucks and equipment are safe and legal to
operate
Ensure safe work performance, champion Safe Working
Instructions and ensure that customers' operational teams understand
their responsibilities in providing safe areas to work.

Ensure the local administration required by is always accurate and up
to date
*
Assist in the generation of annual budgets and
budget forecast revisions.

Generate weekly/Monthly Sales
reports or other reports as required by the business
Key
