Full Job Description
Our client is a well-established Freight forwarder based in
Coleshill they are now recruiting a Multi modal freight forwarder to
join the team
Handling freight forwarding services ranging
from Ocean, Air, Road, cross trade, project movements Internationally,
with a bias on Sea Imports from the Far East and
Middle East, but also import from all over the world.
Main purpose of the role:
- Handling freight forwarding movements including
Ocean, Air & European Road in an effective and profitable manner.
- Mainly sea freight imports from start to finish
- Process of day-to-day quotations
- Completing freight documentation
- Customs entries
- End to
end responsibility for all freight transactions.
- Developing relationships with
customers/suppliers, ensuring highest level of service standards are
maintained across all fronts.
- Address any
issues with customers, invoice processing, damages, customs reclaim
etc.
Experience Required:
- Freight forwarding Operations - ideally
Multi-modal Transport Operations; Air, Ocean & Road)
- You must have Sea freight imports and ideally
multi modal
- Good negotiation skills
- Good Communication skills
Salary and Benefits:

27,000 to 35,000
