Job Title: Seasonal Tractor Driver

Location:  Mullen Farm, Pewsey - Wiltshire

Contract Type: Seasonal

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours

Salary: £11.13 - £12.50 depending on experience and qualifications

Do you have tractor driving experience and have a passion for agriculture? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you right now! We have a vacancy for a skilled Tractor Driver to join our Seasonal Growing Team at our Pewsey Farm in Wiltshire.

This role reports to the Farm Manager who will give out daily tasks deemed necessary to produce all baby leaf crops, within constraints of good horticulture practice. You will be working closely with the farm team and your daily duties will include, ground preparation, bed forming, machinery maintenance and field hygiene.

You will require a good command of the English language, as this role will include working independently and you will need to be able to converse with the Farm Manager by mobile phone and take clear instructions.

Accommodation will be provided on the farm in our purpose-built hostel at a weekly subsided rate of £55.00. This includes all facilities except for food and toiletries.

You will be working on the farm 40 hours per week across 6 days, and there is guaranteed overtime during the season. This seasonal role will be working on the farm from March 2024 through to October 2024.

An ideal candidate will have a full driving licence, experience of tractor driving is essential, experience of using a range of farm machinery, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills, able to cope with the physical demands of the daily farming tasks, adaptable to changing working environments and is a strong team player.
