National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.

The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.

Due to continued growth within the Security functions, we are seeking a Security Project Manager to manage key security projects within our Security Strategy and Investment portfolio.

You’ll use your Project Management expertise to challenge progress, scope, costs and quality, and importantly manage any escalations outside the control of the Project / Programme leads. 

You will liaise with key stakeholders across Security, Operations, Asset and Construction ensuring allowances, spend forecast, programmes and outputs are aligned, whilst providing leadership to a hybrid team of contractors and staff members. 

This is a hybrid role based between Home and our Warwick HQ, and the closing date for applications is 11th April 2024

• Commercial and Programme acumen; acting swiftly on project performance data and continuously testing the cost, time, quality equation
• Stakeholder Management: liaising across the internal business to ensure regulatory commitments and risk reduction benefits are achieved.
• PRINCE 2
• CAF / NIST experience

• Salary up to £55,000
