Full Job Description

RSE is currently seeking Semi-skilled Labourers to join our Asset Management and Technical Services team to service our key client, Southern Water. This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Basingstoke office.


Your role will be to carry out day-to-day general labouring tasks. The role will involve assisting tradesmen in pulling cables, installing bracketry, collecting materials and assisting other skilled personnel, both in the workshop and on site. Safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment is also required. You’ll additionally assist other disciplines when necessary and accurately record man-hours as required.


Some of Your Key Duties Include:


  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • The ability to follow concise and clear instructions accurately.
  • Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
  • Awareness of quality, environmental, health and safety processes and requirements.
  • Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.


What Do You Need?


  • Ability to utilise independent judgment in the performance of duties.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience within the fabrication/engineering industry.
  • Knowledge of site safety practices, including an understanding of Confined Spaces.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
