Senior Account Manager (Shopper) – up to £44,000 – London / Hybrid


An award-winning agency specialising in shopper marketing is seeking a talented SAM.


  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office each week
  • Opportunity to work with some great brands

Working in a small team, you will have a background in shopper marketing, particularly within the FMCG sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and work closely with a global leader in premium drinks.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's brand, business, and marketing strategy.
  • Gain client insights that can inspire and drive innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with internal agency planning teams to develop a strategic point of view and creative briefs.
  • Be an integral member of the team, collaborating with both the agency and the client in developing and managing client business.
  • Plan and execute projects ensuring they align with the overall strategy, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.
  • Provide leadership and line management to an Account Manager and Account Executive within your team.
  • Demonstrate clear leadership in writing comprehensive and inspiring briefs for creative teams.
  • Oversee the creative process from inception to completion, managing both studio work and big idea generation.
  • Ensure that the creative output is in line with the client's brand and meets their specific requirements.
  • Lead creative briefings, reviews, and presentations with the client.
  • Actively identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and potential new business opportunities.
  • Strengthen client relationships through a proactive approach, understanding their evolving needs.
  • Contribute to the agency's growth by exploring and pursuing new business opportunities.


Key Requirements


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, with a focus on shopper experience.
  • Proven track record of managing FMCG client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the shopper journey and retail environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset.
  • Experience in premium drinks or related industries is a plus.
