This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a company that specialises in providing businesses with services that are vital for success, such as Legal solutions, Accountancy Solutions and Finance & insurance Solutions.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Derbyshire.
This
client facing technical/management role will have a dual requirement
for preparation and reviewing as well as being required to provide on
the job training for more junior members of the team along with
providing technical guidance to colleagues and clients.
You
will be required to work with clients from sole trader up to
multimillion pound groups and liaise with the Senior Leadership Team
across the group on the full spectrum of opportunities.
Key
Accountabilities
Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts and
tax computations
Reviewing Sole Trade and Partnership accounts
Reviewing Tax returns of individuals and partnerships
Reviewing
P11Ds
Preparing Corporation Tax computations and submitting
CT600's and revisions.
Interpreting accounts and conveying to
Senior Management and Clients
Liaising with HMRC where required on
behalf of clients.
To understand the following:
- Corporate
restructures
- Capitals Gains Tax
- Income Tax
- Inheritance
Tax
Skills and Knowledge:
Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or qualified
by experience.
Preferably at least 3 years post qualified
Experience with cloud software such as Xero and Quickbooks
Ability
to develop and maintain client relations. Ensure a high level of
service to meet client expectations.
Ability to think on their
feet and challenge the status quo.
Open to and encouraging of
change.
Strong attention to detail
Able to train colleagues on
a technical level.
Desire to build strong client relationships.
The salary for this position is 45,000 - 50,000 DOE plus
25days holiday and qualification for up to 10% discretionary annual
bonus.
