Full Job Description

Senior Analysis Engineer

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Holder of a degree in mechanical engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the energy sector. Must demonstrate expertise in two or more of the following areas: Finite Element Analysis (FEA), pressure vessel codes, mechanical component design, fatigue analysis, and fracture mechanics.

Role:

  • To deliver engineering services within the business unit, offer guidance and leadership to engineering staff, and provide engineering support to other divisions and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis of connectors and related equipment using FEA or manual calculations as appropriate.
  • Perform fatigue life assessments.
  • Prepare comprehensive results and reports based on design calculations/analysis promptly.
  • Proactively manage and advance assigned tasks from inception to completion.
  • When necessary, update clients on progress and document work.
  • Aid in preparing quotations for clients.
  • Monitor time and costs for each assigned task.
  • Review and approve drawings, documents, reports, and calculations to ensure compliance with required standards.
  • Design and develop the connector product line.
  • Participate actively in design reviews.
  • Offer technical product support to the sales team.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and supervision to engineering staff.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Remuneration

On offer for this position is a salary of up to £65K DOE and additional benefits.
