Role Description


Gatehouse is seeking experienced and high-performing early career professionals with strong client-facing credentials and familiarity with geopolitical and commercial trends to join the team as a Senior Associate (SA) in our geopolitical advisory practice.


This position will work across a range of Gatehouse clients, helping to upgrade their ‘geostrategic competence’ across a variety of geographies and themes. They will be in regular contact with the Gatehouse network and be expected to contribute to other firm-building activities. 


In addition to a solid foundation of geopolitical knowledge, the ideal candidate will also bring a mix of private sector, government policy and/or international experience to the job.



Key Skills & Experience


  • Early career professionals with 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience 

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field

  • Demonstrable interest (through academic or professional pursuits) in geopolitics and business

  • Ability to independently conduct high-quality preliminary research and analysis

  • Ability to produce clear and concise written outputs under tight deadlines

  • An eye for detail and strong work ethic

  • An entrepreneurial attitude and proactively takes on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks

  • Enjoys working as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and take feedback onboard
