Senior Back End Developer

Source Recruit is delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Back End Developer with be an expert in building and maintaining high-demand APIs, diagnosing production issues in cloud-based systems, and working with development teams to deliver code and configuration fixes. They will also have experience working with Agile methodologies and tools, as well as experience supporting and maintaining cloud-based APIs, websites, and message queues.

Responsibilities:

• Work on the re-platforming, refactoring, and migration of the Mobile Payments API from Microsoft Azure (Classic) to a new supported version of Azure.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the TfL Go app, which will require improvements to the Mobile Payments API.
• Integrate with several bespoke data sources written by other parties.
• Follow and contribute to TfL software development standards and best practices.
• Ensure successful releases within TfL's B2C and ESUB system are achieved.

Job Details:

• Start Date: June 3rd
• Contract Length: 12 Months
• Day Rate: Competitive day rate (Inside IR35)
• Location: North Greenwich, London
• Working Arrangements: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
• Hybrid: 2 Days on-site
